5 weeks!
Holy cow. It's wild to think that only 5 weeks ago Jeff and I were laying on the couch watching TNT's "The Closer" and counting the minutes between contractions. Seneca has changed so much. She weighed 9lbs 14ozs at the doctor's appointment last Monday - it probably would have been around 10 if she hadn't pooped her pampers just before she got weighed. Now she seems to be looking at you rather than staring off into space - it's awesome. She seems to becoming more aware of her hands too. She's putting them in her mouth and clutching things too - like her hair - which doesn't seem to make her too happy, but if you rub her belly and smile, she's sure to smile back.
Seneca took her first ride in an airplane this weekend and behaved better than most adults I've seen on planes. She was a total peach and slept almost the entire flight there and back, waking only to eat and then promptly going back to sleep.
